Darren was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. He started his career as a carpenter in 2005 after graduating with a BFA in sculpture. He spent time in Virginia framing and trimming out remodeled homes until he then transitioned into custom cabinet making. Darren moved to Colorado in 2014 and has been a remodel carpenter ever since.
In his free time, Darren enjoys spending time with his two children. If you hear rhythmic beats the next time you’re enjoying some winter sports on a Colorado mountain, fear not! It’s just Darren combining his two favorite hobbies: playing drums and snowboarding. Melton is lucky to have Darren on the team!
