Melton Design Build is a Certified B Corp
Melton Design Build has achieved B Corp Certification from the nonprofit B Lab, becoming the first remodeler in Colorado to certify as B Corp, and joining a global community of People Using Business as a Force for Good.
What is B Corp?
B Corp Certification is a prestigious designation that recognizes businesses meeting high standards of performance, accountability, and transparency across various areas, such as employee benefits, supply chain practices, and environmental impact. To achieve certification, companies need to demonstrate social and environmental performance by scoring 80 or above on the B Impact Assessment. Transparency is crucial, as certified companies must make information about their performance publicly available on the B Lab website.
The B Corp Declaration of Interdependence reflects the vision of a global economy where businesses operate as a force for good, considering the five stakeholder-focused “Impact Areas”, including workers, customers, community, environment, and governance. Certified B Corporations are committed to being the catalysts for positive change. They strive to do no harm and benefit everyone through their products, practices, and profits.
