Sister Carmen Community Center is the only organization providing basic need services and resources to the most vulnerable residents in East Boulder County. Through their family-centered programming they promote health and well-being and economic stability by meeting face-to-face with the people they serve. They help those in need to improve the quality of their lives through meeting basic needs, preventing homelessness, support with obtaining employment, parenting support, and meaningful family and child-centered activities.

Donating to Sister Carmen Community Center will give them the stability they need to consistently fight food insecurity during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Blue Sky Bridge is proactive in its approach to helping families during child abuse investigations. They provide immediate intervention, forensic interviews, crisis intervention counseling, family support and follow-up services to child victims and non-offending family members.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and it is incredibly important to bring attention to children who may be more vulnerable during this time of social distancing and isolation.

Feed The Frontlines Boulder is providing meals to front line healthcare workers in the city from independent local restaurants. The initiative’s organizers partnered with Boulder Community Health to coordinate the program. The initial $200,000 covers the first 30 days of meals for the hospital, but organizers are hoping to raise another $200,000 to “keep meals flowing” for at least 60 days.

Health workers get a nourishing meal, and local restaurants get badly needed business to keep running and keep staff employed.
