Warm natural materials and a soft, neutral palette keep the interiors light and welcoming, while black accents add definition throughout. The result is a home designed to welcome guests with ease while keeping pace with an active household.
Framed Light
Oversized windows draw in generous natural light, while black trim brings crisp contrast and cohesion from room to room. That same detailing continues into the staircase through a custom fabricated railing with inlaid balusters, introducing a subtle layer of craftsmanship. Repeated lines and finishes carry across the main living spaces, creating visual continuity without relying on bold statements.
Everyday Flow
The kitchen was redesigned to remove friction from the way the home functions. Previously, an L shaped island and a series of non-load bearing columns interrupted circulation and created an awkward threshold into the space. Opening the plan and removing those barriers allowed the kitchen to connect naturally to the surrounding rooms. A double island adds generous prep space and a comfortable place to gather, with abundant storage throughout to keep the day moving smoothly.
Quiet Retreat
In a busy home, a retreat only works if it actually gets used. The primary suite was designed as a place to reset, with seating areas that invite rest and finishes that feel calm without feeling fussy. In the bath, a freestanding tub and restrained material palette create a spa like tone that holds up to daily routines. It is a space built for daily routines, with the comfort and finish to feel like a retreat.
