A Serene Suite: Our Award-Winning Project
Our project, “A Serene Suite,” transformed a disjointed 1970s home in Boulder’s Park Lake neighborhood into a cohesive, serene space inspired by Japanese bathhouses. Key features include a zero-entry shower, a stainless-steel soaking tub, vaulted ceilings, and skylights to enhance natural lighting.
The green porcelain tiles mimic the soothing hues of nature, creating a calming ambiance. The stainless-steel soaking tub is not only a focal point, but also a testament to our ability to blend tradition with modernity. The vanity area, with its sleek design and ample storage, adds to the bathroom’s functionality while maintaining a clean, modern look.
Challenges and Solutions
This project presented significant challenges, including integrating vaulted ceilings and skylights into the existing framework. We used advanced porcelain tiles that mimic ribbon maple wood for durability and moisture resistance, ensuring a harmonious and hardy design. The comprehensive remodel transformed the space into a delightful, light-filled bathroom that embodies tranquility and elegance. The homeowner praised the seamless integration of style and functionality, significantly uplifting their living experience.
