Andy is an accomplished building professional and department manager bringing two decades of high-end residential remodeling experience to the Melton Design Build team. Spanning roles from carpentry and supervision to estimating and project and production management, Andy’s construction experience is primarily rooted in historic home remodeling in both Richmond, Virginia and San Francisco.
Her academic background in Philosophy and Buddhist Studies inspires her interest in how people build meaning – both in the spaces they inhabit and the systems they create. She is dedicated to cultivating healthy, trust-centered workplaces where empathy, and authentic connection support strong, collaborative teams.
A self-proclaimed serial hobbyist and lifelong sports enthusiast, Andy consistently finds herself immersed in creative pursuits or competitive endeavors. In previous life chapters, she was an accomplished junior golfer, a trail half-marathoner, co-captain of the ISKF national karate team, and, most recently, a Colorado state champion in Olympic weightlifting. Her additional passions include, but are certainly not limited to, woodworking, songwriting, baking, board gaming, CrossFit, and hiking with her wife, Pema, and their Westie, Lambchop.
