Erik studied Environmental Sociology and Sustainability at Colorado State University and later earned a Fine Woodworking Certificate from Red Rocks School of Fine Woodworking. His experience includes residential construction, architectural millwork, built-ins, and fine furniture, all grounded in three years of hands-on construction and craftsmanship in the Boulder area.
One of Erik’s most memorable projects was transforming a small studio into a rustic spiritual retreat center in the mountains. The project was built entirely with locally harvested pine, which he milled onsite, resulting in a space that felt deeply connected to its surroundings. He enjoys design build work because he loves creating environments that support what he describes as soul-full hospitality.
At home, Erik tends to a small homestead with fruit trees, ten chickens, and a 500 square foot garden. He and his wife have been married six years and are raising three young children. A fun fact about Erik: he lived in St. Petersburg, Russia for three years studying language and summited Mt. Elbrus, the tallest peak in Europe at 18,500 feet.
