Scott joined the Melton Design Build team in 2022. He studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and brings 28 years of construction experience with him. The most unique project he worked on prior to Melton was completing the fountains inside the Nebraska State Capitol complex. Initially designed in the early 20th century, the fountains were intended to cool the building in the era before modern air conditioning however the project was sidelined due to the onset of the Great Depression. Almost a century later, Scott was able to help complete the project in 2017.
Scott is married to his loving wife and he enjoys concerts, hiking, mountain biking, and Colorado’s numerous breweries. An avid baseball enthusiast, Scott has seen every MLB team live and visited 14 different stadiums!
