Winning this prestigious award highlights our commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and delivering outstanding results that exceed client expectations.
Our Award-Winning Project
Our project, “Mid-Mod Masterpiece,” transformed a dated 1990s bathroom in Boulder into a bold yet serene space inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics. The homeowner’s directive was clear: “Nuke the 90s!” We replaced brass fixtures and burgundy tile with a calming color palette, glossy and matte textures, and angular design details.
Key features of this remodel include:
- A zero-entry shower with a wide 36″ dual swing door and blocking for future grab bars, ensuring functionality as the homeowners age.
- A custom Delta Galeon plumbing selection and a statement chandelier that adds a touch of elegance.
- New medicine cabinets and custom shelving for improved storage.
- High-quality WOW Duo tile on the back wall, complemented by cost-effective Solo matte tiles.
The custom diagonal open shelving was a standout feature, praised by judges from across the country. The impeccable tile work, with grout lines perfectly aligned across 2 x 2, 6 x 6, and 12 x 24 tiles, demonstrated the precision and skill of the Melton team.
