Kitchen & Basement Remodel
As this family of four embraced more time at home, they chose to tailor their living space to fit their evolving lifestyle. Previously working with a Denver design firm, they turned to Melton for our proximity to Boulder and our celebrated design-build process. The kitchen, a bustling hub for two busy parents and their school-aged children, became the central focus of their home remodel.
Extended Seating
We replaced the cramped, u-shaped island with a sleek quartz waterfall island with a prep sink and on-tap filtered water. The dining extension at the end of the island sports seating for four; perfect for weeknight dinners and informal meals.
Perfect Pairs
The all-new matte white cabinetry pairs perfectly with the tule matte glass backsplash and accentuates the stainless steel appliances and finishes throughout. This sophisticated kitchen is both easy on the eyes and a true pleasure to cook in.
Family Friendly Basement
In addition to the kitchen, this home featured a large unfinished basement just waiting to be utilized. The space was converted into a guest suite comfortable enough for extended visits. There’s a large seating area with an adjacent kitchenette for entertaining, an overhauled guest bathroom, and an office space perfect for working remotely.
