This stunning home in Boulder’s Mapleton Hill neighborhood had a beautiful foundation but the existing kitchen configuration wasn’t ideal. With some of the best views in Boulder, the homeowners sought to maximize this space and open up the home with refreshed windows and doors. The results speak for themselves.
We reconfigured the kitchen layout to provide a more natural flow with minimal clutter. The existing island was replaced with a larger quartz waterfall island which can comfortably seat four at the bar counter. The island features an all-new stainless steel microwave and oven from Wolf and a prep sink for ease of access. The back wall is decked out with sleek Porcelanosa cabinets in a subdued cemento mate. The undercabinet lighting provides ample light for the home chef on either side of the new six-burner Wolf gas range.
In addition to a refined kitchen, we opened up the floor plan to allow better flow from the dining room to the kitchen and living room. We built a custom tv cabinet matching the client’s dining table, tying the distinct rooms together. The exterior also received a major facelift with a chic cantilevered door and enlarged, energy-efficient windows throughout.
