Exterior Remodel
The owner purchased this single-story rancher in Boulder’s Table Mesa neighborhood in 2020. While they were pleased with the overall interior layout, they sought to reimagine the front and rear entries to provide seating, shade, and enhanced curb appeal. After working with the Melton team, the homeowner now has an outdoor space that compliments their lifestyle and adds value and visual interest to the home.
Welcoming Entry Way
We relocated the front door from the side to the front of the house to improve circulation and create a formal entryway. The double-hung front doors open wide to promote airflow and invite guests into the all-new entryway mudroom complete with custom shelves and storage.
Custom Pergola
The most striking visual element of this remodel is the custom pergola which creates a shaded seating area perfect for enjoying Colorado’s bountiful blue sky days. The angle of the pergola reflects the pitch of the home’s roof for visual continuity while the natural wood tones provide a splash of color and contrast.
Ready for a Green Thumb
The raised flower beds which line the outdoor seating area create a distinct patio space and bring the garden to eye level for ease of care and a touch of privacy.
