Whole Home Remodel
This already beautiful home was in need of some rejuvenation and personality. With the help of interior designer Mary Engelken, Melton was able to breathe new life into the house. Once a builder-grade house in the Boulder foothills, this home was transformed into a cottage retreat bursting with charm and unique, personal touches.
Intimate Gatherings
Built-in cabinets made of rich wood beckon family and friends alike to gather and enjoy. A high window and ceiling-height shelves draw the eye up and extend the length of the room, making it seem bigger. More room for all!
Cottage Kitchen
Capitalizing on the tons of light this house gets, the all-white kitchen uses natural woods and stones to bring the outdoors in. A large kitchen island encourages food prep and food fights alike, and the gold finishes bring a classic touch to this modern space.
Playful Patterns
Showering or picnicking? Why choose when you can do both! The green and white gingham tile adds a playful feel to this bathroom and contrasts with the darker tile on the floor. A large, walk-in shower invites you to take your time and practice some self-care within your hygiene routine.
Charming Retreat
In the primary bathroom, angled ceilings add interesting and unique geometry to a traditionally utilitarian space. Vertical paneling meets horizontal tile to create dimension within the white and grey room, while a soaking tub and walk-in shower inspire rest and relaxation. All that’s missing are the bubbles!
